Your wedding day is one of the most special moments of your life, and what better way to remember it than through a live wedding painting? At Marie Jade Fine Art, I specialize in capturing the essence of your celebration as it unfolds, creating a beautiful and timeless piece of art.

3 Steps to a Live Wedding Painting Experience

1. Initial Consultation: It all begins with a conversation. I get to know you, your love story, and the vision for your wedding day. This helps me understand what moments are most important to you and how best to capture them on canvas.

2. Day of the Event: On your wedding day, I set up my station with all the supplies including watercolor paints, fine art markers and ink pens at the venue. As your guests mingle and celebrate during cocktail hour, I start sketching. A photo capture and a chat with the guests together create the magic of your special moments. From the first dance to the toasts, every brushstroke adds to the story of your day.

3. Final Touches: At the end of the night, I take a moment to celebrate just with the couple. They get a chance to see all the guest sketches and collect their special 8×10 created that night. With their permission the table opens up for in-studio finished pieces that will be sent back to the couple for distribution. The completed 8×10 portrait, and custom 5×7 minis are hand delivered to the couple as guests return to pick-up their sketches as beautiful keepsakes.

Make It Extra Special: Include Furry Family Members

For many couples, pets are an important part of their family. Emma, the Bride, has a special image that touched my heart. Her grandfather was sitting with his faithful companion. Creating this sweet sketch filled everyone with adoring love. Including furry friends in live wedding paintings can add a personal and heartwarming touch. These details make the artwork even more special and unique.
